Mid Wilts Division 2
If you are interested in playing for your club in the Mid Wilts Division 2 league, please contact committee.members@aerobc.co.uk who will record your details for the Aero BC player registrations during the badminton playing season (September to April). You will need to be a member of Aero and commit to playing for only one club in the same Mid Wilts league as the league rules mandate this. Match fees are £4 per night.

Mid Wilts 4/2 Mixed League Guidelines
- League teams consist of 4 men and 2 ladies.
- Matches consist of 9 rubbers, each being the best of 3 sets.
- A match consist of 4 men’s doubles, 1 ladies doubles and 4 mixed doubles.
- Pairs should be in order of strength so your 1st pair of men should be your best and likewise the best mixed pair should play at 1st pair. Mixed is played from 4th pair to 1st pair so in a 4-4 draw with 1 to play the best 2 pairs are on court deciding the match.
- Each set is played to 21 plus extended play to reach 2 clear points. If the score reaches 29 all, the winner will be determined on the next point.
- Players must change ends after each set. Players will also change ends when the first team reaches 11 points in the third set.
- You need to put your team names and the opposition names down before the match starts and put the scores in as they are played

- Home Ladies pair v Away Ladies pair
- Home Men’s 2nd pair v Away Men’s 2nd pair

- Home Mixed 4th pair v Away Mixed 4th pair
- Home Mixed 3rd pair v Away Mixed 3rd pair
- Home Mixed 2nd pair v Away Mixed 2nd pair
